Born and raised in Bruce Mines, Lexie completed her Master of Science (Physical Therapy) at McMaster University in 2023 after having completed her Master of Public Health, Bachelor of Education and Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology at Lakehead University. Lexie has completed her Level 1 Manual Therapy Certification through the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Going forward, she will continue to study the manual therapy levels. Lexie takes an active approach to her patient-centered treatment care programs and has a keen interest in working with runners
Lexie graduated high school from Central Algoma Secondary School and continues to be an active member of her community. She currently coaches cross country, badminton, and track and field at CASS, as well as facilitates volleyball and basketball camps for elementary aged athletes in the Central Algoma area. She also hosts an annual Bruce Mines Run Around the Bay 6k and 10k race at the end of the summer to help fundraise for Bruce Mines Recreation and CASS Athletics.
