Abigail is eager to begin her career in her hometown of Sault Ste. Marie after completing a Master of Physical Therapy at Western University in 2023, following completion of her BSc in Psychology, with a minor in music at Algoma University in 2020. With a passion for the outdoors, Abigail is excited to be involved in her community again, specifically the ski community where she grew up Ski Racing at Searchmont Resort. She further continued in the sport, becoming a Certified Level 1 Alpine Ski Coach.
Abigail will offer a holistic approach to treatment, while helping you achieve your goals through a patient-centered treatment plan using manual therapy, education, exercise, modalities and self-management strategies. She believes in treatment plans that are best suited to the pain experience that her patient is having in order to meet their individual goals.
She is motivated to start continuing education courses to further develop her skill set and knowledge to better serve the community. Abigail has a special interest in sports injuries and post-surgical patients. Currently, Abigail has completed her Level 1 Manual Therapy Certification through the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Going forward, she will continue to study the manual therapy levels. Abigail is also involved in Athletic Therapy for Sault College Hockey teams, as well as working with in-patient hospital populations.
Outside of the clinic, Abigail is found loving the outdoors, specifically on her skis and bike!
