The jaw, or the temporomandibular joint, can be a very common source of pain for many people. Pain and/or dysfunction in this joint is referred to as Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMD). TMD affects many people and can be a strong contributing factor to pain in the facial and upper neck region, and may be accompanied by clicking/popping in one or both joints. TMD can be a cause of headaches and is often overlooked upon examination. Dr. Bradford has taken training in Chicago, IL for the diagnosis and treatment of TMD and has a vast understanding of this issue in order to properly guide the rehabilitation process.
